A wonderful stay at Bryniau Clwyd Glamping Retreat in January 2025 - even in mid-winter, the pod was incredibly warm and cosy. Beautiful decor, incredibly comfortable bed, everything necessary for hot drinks, wine snacks, breakfast. The location is so peaceful with stunning views. Ideal romantic getaway or - as in my case, a safe and welcoming place to connect with the countryside as a solo traveller. The hosts have so much local knowledge and do everything they possibly can to make the stay enjoyable and seamless. Perfect stay for international travellers looking to explore Wales - so many attractions close by. Cannot recommend highly enough - so much better than staying in a hotel.

Yet another lovely stay at Bryniau Clwyd in the Moel Famau pod! Tina and Alun are the perfect hosts for a perfect stay! Complete privacy to enjoy your time there but also on hand for any of their services they offer: breakfast brought to your pod, sweet treats (waffles, pancakes and milkshakes) brought to your pod (all made on site of course!). One of their services is lighting the hot tub ready for your arrival, or for any time you like during your stay. The location is peaceful and a complete breath of fresh air. We will definitely look forward to staying yet again!

We stayed two nights at Bryniau Clwyd for a birthday weekend and cannot recommend the place enough. From first contact, Tina made us feel incredibly welcome and was always on hand to help us out with anything we needed, as well as offering if we wanted our hot tub heated on arrival (even in the treacherous storm she made sure the fire was lit and the hot tub warm enough for us). The pod itself was immaculate with every detail thought of including a sauna which we made use of. We were able to cook meals using the induction and pans, crockery, utensils provided for us. We were given small treats on arrival - shortcake, bread, crisps, milk, jams. All essentials - which was not at all expected but greatly appreciated and went down a treat. A breakfast menu is on hand as well as a sweet treats menu made by Tina. We ordered breakfast both days and would order more from her now despite not being at the pod! It was delicious. The whole weekend was a delight and we could not fault Bryniau Clwyd or the service provided at all. You really made for a superb birthday gift! This was a first time glamping experience and it will be very difficult to ever top. I would recommend Bryniau Clwyd to anyone who is looking for an unforgettable glamping experience and we look forward to visiting again and trying out the new tea room.

We absolutely loved our stay at the glamping pod! The pod was spotless, beautifully designed, and surprisingly spacious. The bed was super comfortable, and the small kitchenette had everything we needed. The location was peaceful and private, but still close to local trails and a lovely village pub. Perfect mix of comfort and nature — we’ll definitely be back!

We had warm welcome from owner with snacks, all sorts of drink, and cozy, tidy room. We also had surprised view around cabin. It was very relaxed experience.
